Kokomo, Indiana – October 19, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –
Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union will host its Free Kids Community Halloween Party on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its location at 201 Southway Blvd E in Kokomo. Early entry begins at 10 a.m. for eligible children. The event is free and open to kids and families. Full details, including activity information and early-entry requirements, are available at solfcu.org/halloweenparty.
Activities scheduled for the afternoon include free monster truck rides, a free petting zoo, trunk-or-treat, an inflatable bounce house and obstacle course, inflatable basketball, and meet-and-greets with Halloween characters. The credit union’s social media posts have also referenced caricatures and face painting as part of the day’s offerings. Costumes are encouraged for children and families attending the gathering.
Early entry at 10 a.m. is limited to children who are Solidarity members and the primary account holder on a qualifying account. Eligible accounts are Kids Crew Savings, Primary Savings, and Rev Up Savings held in the child’s name. A parent or guardian’s membership does not qualify a child for early entry. Proof of the child’s qualifying account is required at the door. Families needing a replacement membership card should visit either Solidarity location before October 24 to obtain one prior to the event.
Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union will not host outside vendors at this year’s party. The credit union has advised attendees not to share personal information with anyone claiming to represent Solidarity. The party itself remains free to attend regardless of membership status. General admission begins at 11 a.m., and the event concludes at 2 p.m.
The credit union has held similar free kids’ community Halloween parties in prior years at the same Kokomo location. Past editions have included monster truck rides, trunk-or-treat, inflatables, a petting zoo, and character appearances. One prior-year version featured the Night of Destruction monster truck available for viewing and rides alongside other activities. The 2026 event continues that established format as a family-oriented seasonal activity held on the credit union’s property.
The early-entry window is reserved exclusively for children who meet the primary-account-holder requirement on one of the three listed savings products. Verification of the child’s account is required on site at the time of arrival. Families whose children are not yet members may inquire about opening accounts, though membership is not required to attend the free party during general admission hours. The credit union’s event materials note that the early-entry provision is intended for children who hold the qualifying accounts in their own names.
Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative founded in 1954 by Delco Electronics co-workers who pooled resources to help one another. The credit union later became community-chartered and serves members who live, work, worship, volunteer, or attend school in Howard, Tipton, Clinton, Cass, Carroll, Miami, and White counties, as well as the immediate family of existing members. It offers checking and savings accounts, consumer and mortgage lending, certificates, and digital banking services, with an emphasis on personalized service and community connection.
The annual kids’ community Halloween party is one of several local seasonal activities the credit union has supported. The 2026 event is presented as a free afternoon gathering centered on activities for children and families. Activity listings, early-entry rules tied to specific youth and primary savings accounts, and the no-vendor policy appear on the credit union’s event page at solfcu.org/halloweenparty.
