NEW YORK, Sept. 22, 2026
The recognition follows Intelo.ai’s win at the 2026 Built-on Databricks Startup Challenge Finals at the Data + AI Summit
NEW YORK, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Intelo.ai, the company building the Agentic Workforce for Retail, today announced it has been accepted into the Built-on Databricks Partner Program, which supports independent software vendors building products and solutions on the Databricks Data + AI Platform. The news comes weeks after Intelo.ai was named a winner of the 2026 Built-on Databricks Startup Challenge Finals, taking home a $25,000 prize live on stage at the Databricks Data + AI Summit in San Francisco.
As a Built-on Partner, Intelo.ai embeds the Databricks Data + AI Platform directly into its product, giving the company’s five agent teams — spanning merchandise financial planning, assortment, in-season execution, merchant analytics and pricing — a common data and AI foundation to plan, forecast, and act across the retail merchandising lifecycle. By building its agentic AI solution on a unified foundation for data and AI, Intelo.ai can help retailers bring governed enterprise data and AI together to power agent-driven workflows and business outcomes. The designation follows a formal review of Intelo.ai’s architecture and product by the Databricks partner team, and comes with a listing in the Databricks Partner Directory.
The Built-on Databricks distinction adds to a milestone summer for Intelo.ai. In July, the company was named a winner of the Built-on Databricks Startup Challenge Finals, competing against some of the most innovative startups building on the Databricks Data + AI Platform. Intelo.ai’s product and engineering team was recognized for its work applying Databricks’ data and AI capabilities to real-time merchandising and planning problems for enterprise retailers.
“Being accepted into the Built-on Databricks Partner Program is a natural next step for us,” said Jeff Fish, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Intelo.ai. “Databricks gives us the unified data and AI foundation to scale the Agentic Workforce for Retail faster and more reliably, and this recognition — on the heels of our Startup Challenge win at the Data + AI Summit — validates the bet we made on this architecture from day one.”
“Our engineering team has built directly on the Databricks Data + AI Platform since the earliest version of our product, so this partnership formalizes a relationship that’s already core to how we operate,” said Roopesh Nair, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Intelo.ai. “It gives the retailers we work with even more confidence that the platform powering their merchandising decisions is built on an open, governed foundation for enterprise data and AI..”
The Built-on Databricks Partner Program is part of the Databricks ISV Partner Program, designed for software companies that build their products and solutions on the Databricks Data + AI Platform into their products to accelerate their roadmap and benefit from Databricks’ ongoing product innovation. Partners complete an architecture and product review with the Databricks partner team before receiving the Built-on designation.
“Intelo.ai is exactly the kind of partner this program was built for,” said Sara Doyle, Senior Director of Emerging Startups, Databricks. “From their Startup Challenge win at the Data + AI Summit to building an agentic retail solution on Databricks, Intelo.ai is showing what’s possible when a startup builds natively on Databricks.”
